Three offers, with a clear hierarchy

Mahthildis does not present three equivalent offers. The recommended entry point is the Decision Review. The two other intervention modes follow when the need becomes more durable or more structuring.

Before committing further

Decision Review

The Decision Review is the recommended entry engagement when a proposal, vendor, or technical trajectory is putting the company at risk faster than leadership can properly control it. It is designed to restore a usable decision without launching a heavy program.

What it is for

To return to a clear decision before signing, escalating, reframing, or continuing.

What leadership receives

A clear outside reading, an argued recommendation, and an immediate next decision the leadership team can actually use.

Approximate duration

A short engagement, usually held over a few business days once the useful material is available.

Exit

A clear restitution: continue, correct, reframe, renegotiate, or stop.

  • Review of context, assumptions, and decision risk
  • A decision note that leadership can actually use
  • A recommendation: continue, correct, reframe, renegotiate, or stop

Fit / Not fit

A clear hierarchy prevents the wrong purchase.

Fit for

  • A decision must be made before signature, budget escalation, or continuation.
  • A subject is already in motion but still recoverable if the arbitration is clarified quickly.
  • Leadership wants an independent outside reading before committing more responsibility.

Not fit for

  • A pure production or web development request.
  • A staffing or body-shopping need.
  • A long engagement purchase when the initial decision has not yet been clarified.

Secondary offers

Two logical next steps when the need goes beyond a one-off decision.

These two offers come after the review, or when the need is already sufficiently clear to justify a more durable framework.

When the need lasts

Fractional CTO / External Tech Partner

Mahthildis steps in as a senior decision-side partner when the company needs credible technical leadership over time across direction, product, and execution, without creating unnecessary organizational weight or rushing into a hire.

When to activate it

Activate when the need goes beyond a single decision and requires ongoing arbitration, continuity, and a senior counterpart on the company side.

Expected outcome

A better-supported leadership team, a trajectory that holds over time, and priorities that remain readable for both decision-makers and teams.

  • Regular decision sessions with leadership
  • A simple, stable governance cadence
  • Structured decisions that are documented and followed through

What this framework changes for leadership and team

  • Clearer priorities between leadership, product, and execution.
  • Better-documented decisions that are easier to hold over time.
  • Less dependence on a single vendor or a single technical interpretation.
  • Stronger internal decision capacity, even when the context remains complex.

When execution is already underway

Independent Vendor Oversight

When a vendor is already engaged but leadership no longer sees clearly what to validate, challenge, renegotiate, or escalate, Mahthildis restores readability, structure, and independence in the relationship.

When to activate it

Activate when a vendor is already in place and the real issue has become governance, decision quality, deliverable quality, or budget control.

Expected outcome

Clear validation criteria, a reframed vendor relationship, and restored leadership capacity to arbitrate.

  • A clearer decision frame between leadership and vendor
  • Structuring questions and validation criteria
  • Recommendations for adjustment, renegotiation, or vendor change

Mahthildis Method

A sober method to reinforce the decision, not to stand in front of it.

The method layer comes after the offer. It exists to strengthen the reading, secure sensitive exchanges, and keep senior human validation through to the restitution.

Decision Guard™

This layer exists to secure the handling of sensitive matters before analysis. It protects exchanges, anonymises data where needed, and prepares usable material without unnecessarily exposing client information before it is confronted within the Neural Consensus Engine™. It also strengthens hypothesis traceability and the discipline of the decision framework. It does not replace ownership of the trajectory, nor the quality of the final deliverable.

Neural Consensus Engine™

This layer exists to reduce blind spots before arbitration. It confronts multiple readings with a knowledge base built from real cases, past projects, expert input, and accumulated field experience. The goal is not to replace judgment, but to strengthen it before a decision is made. Final judgment always remains human.

Senior human validation

This requirement exists to maintain a senior level of judgment all the way through. It turns analysis into advice that leadership can actually use. When the situation requires it, that reading can also be challenged against complementary human expertise. It does not replace the client’s decision. It helps make it more solid.

Expertise domains that can be activated if needed

When the situation requires it, Mahthildis activates the expertise that is actually useful under one pilot on the leadership side. Not a stack of profiles. Not a staffing logic. One accountable frame, with the right reinforcement at the right moment.

  • Architecture & core system modernization
  • Cloud & critical infrastructure
  • FinOps & cost control
  • Cybersecurity & compliance
  • Delivery governance & execution oversight
  • Software quality & trajectory review
  • Vendor / procurement risk
  • Data / AI / integration framing

Next step

If the subject is not yet perfectly clear, start with the Decision Review.

It is the safest entry point to protect budget, recover a usable reading, and decide cleanly what comes next.
