You have received a technology or AI proposal that is difficult to challenge.
Decision Clinic™ by Mahthildis
An independent second opinion before you commit further
Before committing budget, time, a team or a technology trajectory, Mahthildis helps leadership examine one targeted decision, expose the material risks and choose a reasonable next step.
When to use it
A targeted review for a decision that should not remain vendor-led
The subject may be technical, organisational or budgetary. The common point is that leadership needs a clear decision before committing further.
A vendor is asking for a decision before the scope and consequences are clear.
A project has started, but leadership still lacks a readable decision frame.
An AI, SaaS, data or architecture choice could create lasting cost or dependency.
Your team is moving forward, but one targeted decision remains unresolved.
You need to decide whether to continue, correct, renegotiate, defer or stop.

Formats and prices
Choose the format that fits the maturity of the question
Orientation, Decision Clinic™ and the extended Diagnostic address different needs. They are not mandatory successive stages.
Unclear idea or question
Tech Orientation Session
€250 excl. VAT
A 60-to-75-minute session to clarify the situation, the main options, the questions to ask and the next useful step. It does not include a detailed proposal review or an audit note.
Targeted decision and limited review
Decision Clinic™
From €900 excl. VAT
The fixed fee is confirmed after the case has been qualified. Scope, deliverable and schedule are agreed before any commitment.
- one targeted leadership decision;
- a review limited to the evidence agreed during scoping;
- priority risks, assumptions and questions to clarify;
- a short decision note with an argued recommendation;
- explicit limits on what has and has not been examined.
The decision note is delivered within five business days after receipt of the complete evidence agreed during scoping.
If the subject requires extended analysis, several connected questions or a deeper investigation, Mahthildis will recommend a Decision Diagnostic quoted after scoping rather than presenting Clinic as sufficient.

Independent senior perspective
Paulo Castro, founder of Mahthildis
More than fifteen years of experience in software development, architecture, technical leadership and complex information-system projects shaped the Decision Clinic™ approach.
The senior mission lead is identified during scoping. When a distinct specialist contribution is necessary, Mahthildis coordinates the findings and makes disagreements explicit.
The contribution, fees, availability and schedule are agreed before work begins. The client retains the final decision.
FAQ
Questions before requesting a Decision Clinic™
Is Decision Clinic™ a complete technical audit?
No. It is a short engagement focused on one targeted decision and an agreed, limited review. Extended analysis, several connected subjects or deeper investigation belong in a Decision Diagnostic.
Can I bring a quote, proposal or vendor recommendation?
Yes. The agreed evidence can include a quote, proposal, architecture note, project documents or written vendor answers, provided the review remains proportionate to the targeted decision.
Does Mahthildis develop or integrate the solution afterwards?
No. Decision Clinic™ is an independent advisory engagement. It does not include development, integration, vendor resale or a commission on the recommendation.
What is the difference between orientation and Decision Clinic™?
Orientation clarifies an idea or a question that is still unclear. Decision Clinic™ examines one targeted decision using evidence agreed during scoping.
When is a Decision Diagnostic more suitable?
Use the extended Diagnostic when the analysis must cover several connected subjects, more evidence or a deeper investigation. The formats are alternatives suited to different needs, not mandatory successive purchases.
Can specialist expertise be involved?
Yes, when the question genuinely requires it and availability is confirmed. The contribution, fees and schedule are agreed beforehand; specialist work is not automatically included in the starting price.
